PUBLISHER HELP / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How often can I submit the content?
- Whenever you have it ready! Just remember to tell us the date you
want it to be released on so we have it set properly.
And I don't have to do any special formatting?
- Absolutely not. All you need to do is send your content in either
an email, text file, or copy it to the specialized form you will be
given. We format it from there.
Do you pick the design of it or do I?
- We have currently 2 choices for you to choose from. (Click
here to see them). If you have a specific template you've used in
the past, you can also forward it to us, or we can make adjustments to
the template to customize it a bit more for you.
When published, does it have to be all text, or can I include
graphics?
- You can include graphics! That includes skyscrapers, banners,
buttons, logos, etc. Isn't that a great way to take your
DeskZineTM so
much further than a "typical" ezine?!
What happens if I decide I'm not happy. Can I get a refund?
- You have three days to request a refund. Once we have created your
DeskZineTM,
any refunds requested will be minus a minimum administration fee of
$25, or the number of issues published. For example: If you ask for a
refund after we've created it - regardless of what level you have
purchased, you will be refunded minus the administration fee. If your
level was the Pro ($25) level, you will not be entitled to a refund.
This isn't to defraud you, but you must realize that we must pay our
staff for the development time, which is first the initial setup.
While the initial set up fee is waived, a minimum of $25 will not be
refunded.
If you choose a higher level, such as the Small Business level, you
will be credited for any issues not used. For example: if we created
two issues for you, you will be refunded the balance minus $50 (which
would be $47). No additional administration fees would be charged.
How long do I qualify for a refund?
- Any refunds will be pro-rated at any time if we have not created
the issue for you. You MUST cancel your automatic payment through
Paypal or Stormpay in advance though if you wish this.
What if I want to do a chargeback?
- Chargebacks will NOT be tolerated in any way. By registering and
paying for your account, you are authorizing our work to begin. If you
request a refund, you must do so through proper channels - contacting
our staff - NOT by doing a chargeback. If you do a chargeback, all
content including lists and stats will be held, and counterfraud
prosecution will begin.
Do you guarantee all of my subscribers will read each issue?
- Obviously no, we cannot guarantee that they will. I mean really,
how can anyone guarantee that every single person will read every
single issue... WITHOUT it being spyware?? Since its not spyware, we
cannot promise that absolutely everyone will read each issue.
However, with
one of our initial sites that began this concept, we have a
whopping 94% readership! 100%
have access to all issues.
94% have read each issue! That simply
means, the remaining 6% have chosen to read some issues at a later
date.
You can see that these rates are FAR higher than through regular email
strategies.
Can I use Javascript code or similar in my issues?
- Yes, most codes work - however, while we will work with html and
Javascript, we will not actually create custom code (i.e., XML). You
may use it-but you must supply it if you do.
How does the directory work? I don't see much there.
- That's because this system is so new, we're just taking off and
running now. This is the jump on the technology. And, some of our
publishers don't want to be listed (private paid content only). As we
grow, we will be happy to list your
DeskZineTM in
the topic of your choice to assist you in gaining new readers, and
growing your popularity.
Plus, as we grow, we will be doing featured promotions to the
DeskZineTM
Directory. As a Publisher, your
DeskZineTM
will be listed.
How do I have access to my lists?
- As explained on the Register page, your
subscribers register through *your* site. You tell them to
download the reader. The only information kept with us, when they
register the
DeskZineTM
itself, is to be able to access yours specifically. If they haven't
downloaded it, they can't see the issues.
Have you considered a "Joint Venture"
DeskZineTM?
Where more than one person publishes the content free, then others can
promote in it?
- Yes, we actually already have that running at KeyboardCash.com,
the site that helped expand this idea to here. We began to run it
there - then realized just how effective it was with a 94% readership,
that more people should have this.
Do you do Joint Ventures?
- Rarely, but we'll consider it. The blunt fact is, we've had in the
past, experience with some JV's that people do what they can to get
the service free, and don't hold up to their end of the JV. We're not
willing to do that now because our costs are involved. In order for a
JV to take place, you must be willing to promote this site first, and
show us that you are in fact, keeping to your end. If you wish to JV
with us, please contact
us and explain in detail.
Can I publish it on a web for the purpose of web traffic as
well?
- You can publish your newsletter on the web if you wish, that's
your decision. Can you have the copy we create for you for the reader,
to put onto a web page? Sure. Just let us know before-hand and we'll
send you the file. It is your responsibility to put it online though -
we host your
DeskZineTM at
no cost, but we don't host web pages.
